Melrose Family Optometry

I can see clearly now!
I broke my eyeglasses, I really need my glasses! Melrose has two optical shops. Towne Optical was not opened on Saturday. Melrose Family Optometry to the rescue.
Alissa, the office manager and optometric assistant, from Melrose Family Optometry answered the phone. She was so nice and said they would try to repair my broken glasses.
As soon as I walked through the door I was treated with kindness. Alissa was unable to repair them, so they brought in the cavalry, Charles Maggio, OD. He came in on his day off to help and was able to fix them. I was so delighted.
I had been sitting on a new eyeglass prescription, so it was time to bite the bullet and order them. Alissa helped me narrow down my choices and fitted me with bifocals (transitions make me dizzy) and computer glasses.
Within 2 weeks I had 2 new pairs of glasses.
Melrose Family Optometry has been in business for 15 years and has a husband and wife team of optometrist: Kim Ciampa-Maggio O.D. and Charles Maggio O.D.
They provide eye exams, contact lens, as well as eyeglasses with a nice price range.
When I asked how 2 optical shops across the street from each other survive, Dr Ciampa-Maggio said Melrose has enough bad eyes to go around. They also have different products and accept different insurances. They both also decorate their store front windows for the seasons which I love!
Thank you to Melrose Family Optometry for the great customer service, beautiful glasses, most of all for helping me see clearly again.
Melrose is so lucky to have options for eye care.
