Get Your Dancing Shoes On — It’s Time for Freddie G’s Happy Hour Band!

Looking for some toe-tapping, feel-good fun? Freddie G’s Happy Hour Band is ready to rock your night with upbeat, high-energy sets packed with timeless classics from the Baby Boomer era — think The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, and plenty more favorites that’ll have you singing along.

Meet the man behind the drums:

Freddie Gilfeather, has been drumming since he was 14 — though truthfully, he’s been tapping on anything he could find since he was a kid. When Freddie lost his father at age 11, his mom gave him his first drum set, and he’s never looked back. By 1964, he was in his first band, The Wormbats, who even opened for the legendary Dave Clark Five at the Boston Garden!

Now 74 years young, Freddie’s still going strong, saying: “I will die behind a drum set.”

And we believe him! He’s an active member of two classic rock bands and plays regularly for the Church of the Incarnation too.

The Freddie G Happy Hour Band Lineup:

They practice every Monday night in John’s basement, and regularly hit local favorites like American Legion Post 227 (Middleton), Melrose Fish & Game, Waves (Wakefield), and Woburn Elks.

Their shows are family-friendly, full of good vibes, live music, and lots of dancing — the perfect recipe for a night out where everyone knows the words.

Whether you’re grabbing a drink, catching up with friends, or hitting the dance floor, Freddie G’s Happy Hour Band brings the nostalgia and the fun every time.
