Gallery Exhibitions at Follow Your Art and Beebe Estate Showcase Local Artists

Gallery exhibitions at Follow Your Art and the Beebe Estate this month showcase many local artists working in a range of media and styles.
At the Beebe Estate, local artists Linda Dolph, Hiranmoy Guha, and John Maciejowski - all familiar names to Melrose art fans - show off work on many subjects, ranging from lifelike to abstract.
Their works are scattered throughout the four rooms of the gallery, each artist's style, colors, and subject matter harmonizing and contrasting with the others'. Guha's work features fine lines and bright colors, featuring realistic and religious subjects as well as abstract works. Dolph's work, which uses a variety of printing techniques, features bold prints and designs from nature. And Maciejowski has jewelry on display, as well as paintings that feature a variety of textures, and both nature-based and abstract works.
Meanwhile, at Follow Your Art, the annual members-only exhibition features a variety of works on the theme "Oh, The Places We've Gone!" Works range from photographs and sketches from travel to paintings and fiber art inspired by faraway places to a photo of a wedding dress worn at a wedding in Italy. While every artist's style and medium is different, the theme pulls the works together into an exhibition that fits beautifully together.
Many of the artists are familiar to Follow Your Art fans - Kerry Pegoraro, Tamara Kenney, Natalia Isbitsky - while others are new names, including teen artists and works from The Melrose Messenger's own Nancy Clover and her family members.
